The book is the second in the series called "Conversations with Father Krąpiec." The title conversation concerns human knowledge and is an attempt of its philosophical explanation. The authors pay attention to the fact of human cognition, its sources: the senses and reason and basic cognitive operations, such as conceptual thinking and judgments. It was mentioned also the problem of the value of knowledge, relation between thinking and cognizing and cognitive realism. A separate set of issues is the conception of the theory of knowledge and linking it with the concept of man, thus enabling us to avoid its autonomisation.
