Autorka ukazuje fenomen religijności rozumianej jako cecha bytu osobowego. Fakt, że stanowi ona niezbywalną właściwość osobową, przekłada się na pierwotność i powszechność religii w życiu ludzkim i w kulturze. Jej obecności nie da wyjaśnić się na poziomie czysto kulturowym, mimo wysiłków współczesnych interpretatorów tego fenomenu. W książce zatem są obecne dwie płaszczyzny wyjaśniania: filozoficzna - charakteryzująca fakt ludzkiej religijności w kontekście realizmu metafizycznego i antropologicznego, oraz "reliogioznawcza", gdzie religia jest przedmiotem opisu i wielorakich prób interpretacji. Autorka podkreśla pierwszeństwo filozofii w wyjaśnianiu faktu religii przed religioznawstwem. Analizy religioznawcze nie są bowiem w stanie wyjaśnić istoty religii i jej najgłębszych ontycznych racji. Książka ukazała się w serii wydawniczej "Monografie i studia z filozofii realistycznej".

The author shows the phenomenon of religiosity understood as a feature of the person. The fact that it constitutes an inalienable personal property, resulting in the primordiality and universality of religion in human life and in culture. Its presence cannot be explained on a purely cultural level, despite the efforts of modern interpreters of this phenomenon. In the book are therefore present two levels of explanation: philosophical – which characterizes the fact of human religiosity in the context of metaphysical and anthropological realism, and in the context of religious studies where religion is the subject of description and multiple attempt of interpretation. The author emphasizes the primacy of philosophy in explaining the fact of religion before religious studies. The analysis can’t explain the essence of religion and its deepest ontic reasons. The book appeared in the series "Monographs and studies of realistic philosophy."
